Yes you got to repeat the steps for new instance too, since the new instance will have new lock that will prevent another instance from opening. Simply follow same steps for second A3 instance and you can open third one.. same procedure when you want to open forth one and so on...

I am planning to develop a patch for a3client but I am not too sure that I will be able to get it done or even GMs will approve this...

hey sandeep..it worked fine until i somtimes get an error called "error opening handles"
wat do i do for this?

Ajithhh,

I think the process a3client has defunked meaning process has lost its ownership/control. This often happens on Windows for some or other reason.. in such case I would suggest to kill the any existing a3 client running (Task Manager) and restart new & fresh instance.. In all cases except missing Admin privileges, you shouldn't get any error for opening handles for any executable.

I hope the issue would be resolved by now when you read my reply.. but if not do let me know.
