Uh...winamp 5.x has a lot of extra stuff-media library and wat not..so its memory footprint is pretty huge. It's great for standalone music, but not with a3 running.
The one I'd recommend is 'Media Player Classic'-a free opensource barebones player that can play nearabout any format if u got the codecs installed, and lookswise it resembles Windows Media Player 6 (small window with just a slider, and the usual stop play pause volume buttons)
This thing can read winamp playlists, so just go make one, and play it!

IF U LOOK AT IT THAT WAY, TRY IRFANVIEW, PLAYS ALMOST ALL FILES, PICS MOVIES SONGS, ALL, PROVIDED U BEEF THE CODECS.

I DUNNO IF IT HAS THE PLAYLIST OPTION, PLUS MORE CODECS U BEEF THE MORE MEMORY CONSUMING IT TENDS TO BECOME!!

well u don need any extra codecs for playin mp3s! and MPC has a very neat and simple interface, no frills or crap.
