This is embarrassing to say the least. As I read the SG thread, I felt smaller & smaller. I think that it was a real show of discretion on the part of the SG forum members that all they said was “Exactly ...i agree with you ...i think is venusaur2 post that is considered as spam ...lolz....” also adding a LOL to make the comment less caustic.
In our own forum, we hardly seem to show respect to a fellow gamer when they post, nor give adequate thought to the material that we post [though I agree that is not a rule but it is far from being an exception either]…did we really have to go & show our immaturity at others forums as well??
Agreed that the SG forums seem to have quite a few grownups, married folk etc & this can be cited as the reason for their more mature posts & we all are mostly around 18 or less, but that’s hardly a reason to do things the way we are doing!!!.........what is wrong in asking others for help??? Alternatively, what is wrong with posting materials that may or may not have been posted elsewhere if it’s done with honest intentions? {As long as it’s not copyrighted} Is it necessary to complain with foul language???
If we do see a post that has come from another forum or resembles one, I think we can point it out in a decent manner without using expletives & without offending sensibilities. The same goes for answering posts whether they are n00bish or not. Someone had once said that there are not too many people who post on this forum & I think that one of the reasons may be that some of the newer players are scared that they will b ridiculed or worse.
I did not put up this post with a view to malign or point fingers nor am I against anyone so please do not take it personally, these are just my personal thoughts.... I just believe that we can have a good forum with lots of threads running if we show respect for others & put in some thought before posting and/or replying to a post….

You can only see how it degenerated into a flame fest because of the very attitude that you have described.
