hi all,

now evry now and then we keep hearing that smone got hacked. now what i want to say is guys pls dont use the word *hacked* . all the ppl who r so called *hacked* are not actually hacked but they are cracked.
almost evryone who has been cracked are due to there carelesseness or due to key loggers or being backstabbed by there freinds, so where does hacking cm from, they are getting cracked. The so called HACKING is not a kids tool to use it requires immense kknowledge about programing and other computer languages. well this problem of so called hacking can be resolved vry simply.
1) dont share ur user-id and password with anyone not even ur best frnd.
2) use anti-key loggers bfor starting the game.
3) be careful while entering ur userid and password when u r playing frm cafe.
4) and the last thing for GM's pls provide a anti key-logger software with the game which can be downloaded frm a3 website.(coz i dont think we will ever get free game cds frm u guys, i registered fro a game cd in february 06 , got a phone call frm a3 vry next day but didnt get the game cd till date.).

Btw good idea.. But we will have think of the complecations tht the GM's will have to take as well.. They will have to buy a licensed version of Keyloggers and then make it available for the players.. Pay royalty... etc, etc..
Wonder if it can be implemented... The Gm's wud rather ask us to download one of the free downloadable Anti keylogger software.. My friend has installed it at our cafe... (According to the rules of the forums we r not supposed to give links to other software... In case ne1 of u guys want it then pm me.. Will give u the link

One advice i'd like to give is , dont reveal ur ID. not even on forums.
Use an id other than the id than has the game chars.

But perhaps you don't know that there are few players who got "hacked" despite never sharing their account and passwords and never playing from any cafe.

And, secondly....to hack A3 accounts, you need not know programming language. The security system of A3 is so weak that if someone knows your DOB etc and if he has some common sense then he will be able to hack the account.

The Sify Security Admins can definitely prevent cases like this, where the account information is not shared. Right now, the password doesnt accept special or unicode characters. A strong password policy with alpha-numeric, lower-upper case and special characters should be implemented. Incase of forgot password, it should be sent to the original e mail ID listed and should not prompt for the password change or display the password there itself.

Implementing this will be very easy for them and at the same time GMs will be saved from the hassles of investigation of genuine hack issues.
