use wine to play from Linux to windows

Make sure that you have your windows (errr A3) partition mounted (wont work if its NTFS)
then run wine and try running that game

Never did it - but am sure will work.

I still don't get why u have to ask about linux in a game that is very obviously meant for windows. If you're so good at linux, you should have known about Wine and Loki and other emulators. As Sant said..better if you try it out yourself and tell us, since many of us don't have linux installed here.

sry guys to bring to life an old one.
YES u can play it in Linux , but not directly in linux but by running
VMware in linux with windows installed winthin it. But to run a3
under vmware .. under linux, u need a good ATI or Nvdia card, thats
bcoz vmware supports direct3d only when run on linux with 3d card
and drivers installed. Dosent work on system without a acc. card, under
vmware. hope that helps....

Why would you want to slow it down further by running on VMWare? A3 normally itself runs well only under a gig of ram, why can't ppl just run it on normal windows like its meant to be run?

You mean, you actually use ONLY linux as a DESKTOP OS, AND you live in India?
I hate it when people start idiotic threads like this to show off that they know linux.
Just that anyone who's into gaming would know that Windows is the only option with maximum no. and variety of games and asking abt linux when it CLEARLY states that the game is Windows only, smacks of dumbness.

madrock, no offense...im not targeting u here....but have you ACTUALLY tried this yourself? Do you have a linux box with Windows on VMWare installed, and A3 running successfully inside it? I'd like to see some screenshots. Otherwise there's no point, in theory everything ought to work fine, but adding another emulation layer between the OS and the application can cause weird problems for applications that were not meant to be run that way in the first place.
